Varanasi – the religious capital of India also known as Banaras and Kashi is a holy city and a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site near the bank of river Ganga in the northern states of India. It is one of the oldest living cities in the world famous for its ancient ghats, temples, narrow alleys and Kashi Vishwanath temple. Sarnath in Varanasi is a famous site for Buddhism where Buddha gave his first sermon. there are many Buddhist monasteries and temples at this site.

Itinerary

Day 1Varanasi Arrival

Arrive at Varanasi Airport/Railway Station. Meet & greet by our representative then transfer to hotel. Then proceed to visit to Kashi Vishwanath Ji Temple – one of the 12 Jyotirlinga and Understand Adi Yogi Lord Shiva then Vishalakshi and Annapurna Devi Temple.

Visit the local market of Godoliya, enjoy local food &Thandai then take a boat ride in River Ganga to see all the ancient Ghats of Varanasi and the famous Ganga aarti in the evening. then take a 15-minute Meditation session.

Explore old streets and market near the Ghats and experience the local culture and delicious street foods of Varanasi.
Dinner and Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 2Kashi Darshan – The ancient city

Wake up early in the morning and proceed to visit Subah-e-bananas for early morning Ganga aarti.
Take a boat ride in the river Ganga and reach on the other side of river Ganga for a 1-hour yoga session including asanas, Pranayam and Meditation. Then you can walk along the Ghats for a short time and take photographs then back to the hotel for breakfast.

There are many famous temples in Varanasi to visit such as BHU Vishwanath Temple (Replica of Kashi Vishwanath Temple), SankatMochan, Durga Devi and TulsiManas Temple, Bharat Mata Temple which is dedicated to Mother India, also visit Ramnagar Fort which was built by Kashi Naresh.

Highlights – You can take some really splendid photographs of Ghats and Ganga Boat ride and the river. You can see a 3D map of the Indian Sub-continent made of Marble in Bharat Mata Temple.

Day 3Sarnath – Holy site of Buddhism

Post Breakfast visits Sarnath which a famous Buddhist pilgrimage site. There are many Temples and Buddhist Monasteries such as Sarnath Temple, Giant Buddha Statue, Wat Thai Temple, Golden Monastery, Archaeological Museum, Chaukhandi Stupa, Ashoka Pillar and Dhamek stupa to understand and feel the philosophy of Lord Buddha and Buddhism.

Practice Yoga and Meditation session for 1-hour near Dhamek Stupa and experience the enlightening session. Spend leisure time on your own in the Evening and explore the local streets.

Day 4Departure

After Breakfast check-out from the hotel and transfer to Airport/Railway station. Time to say goodbye to this beautiful ancient city.
